Sony’s PlayStation has been around since the 20th century. From pixelated, two-dimensional graphics to real live action gaming and even virtual reality, Console gaming has a long way. Microsoft’s Xbox One, the main competitor of the PS4, although with superior technology, lacks the wide array of gaming options the PS4 provides.

Sony just announced the release of PlayStation 5 in 2020, and while the main distinguishing features are yet to be unveiled, here are the features to look forward to in the new console.

Haptic Feedback and Adaptive Triggers

With these two advancements in the remote, gamers will be able to distinguish between different terrains, actions and scenarios. For example, hitting a tree with a car will feel very different from tackling and getting possession of the football.

As a fan of console gaming, upgrading to the PS5 would be very euphoric, that is of course if it doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg. The new console is expected to be priced at 499$ to 599$ which is a lot for the Pakistani consumer!
