An era came to an end with the sad demise of legendary Pakistani writer, poet, and television star Athar Shah Khan Jaidi.
During his career that spanned over four decades, Khan received a number of awards and recognitions including the President’s Pride of Performance Award.
Athar Shah Khan was best known for this super hit drama Haye Jaidi and for the same reason he was often referred to as Jaidi instead of his real name.
Many celebrities came forward to pay their final respect to the departed soul.
Nauman Ijaz wrote a beautiful note remembering Jaidi’s legacy saying now that he was gone, the audience would really miss him.
