But recently, Dirilis: Ertugrul heroine, Esra Bilgiç, better known as Halime Sultan posted a picture and the Pakistani ghairat brigade couldn’t handle it.
What they wanted was a baa-parda 13th-century princess but got this. *tauba tauba*
Pakistanis are having a meltdown after scouting Esra Bilgiç’s Instagram and finding that she’s also from the 21st century!
Esra Bilgiç’s desi fans are having trouble wrapping their heads around the fact that she’s a modern-day actress and not their favorite character from the Turkish series in real life.
Of course, fatwas are in abundance.
Well-wishers are also praying for her forgiveness.

The ghairat brigade has flooded Esra Bilgiç’s Instagram posts with their “Astaghfirullah Halima baji,” comments!
But many Pakistanis have come forward to apologize for these comments on her posts.
Chief among them is host and presenter, Anoushey Ashraf.
Here’s hoping Esra Bilgiç doesn’t get the time to read through the comments of the Pakistani ghairat brigade. This is one embarrassment I’m not ready to shoulder!
