We, the people of Pakistan, as a nation have come a long way over the past seven decades or so. The journey has certainly been anything but smooth, however over the course of time we have most certainly accumulated reasons to take pride in our identity as Pakistanis.

So, this Independence Day let’s revisit the attributes that give each one of us a reason to take pride in our identity as a Pakistani!

Generosity

Corrupt governments have made way for an economic crisis so many times in our history that it’s difficult to keep count.

However, it matters little because we, the people still contribute, give charity and share with one another to whatever extent possible.

Despite poverty, we are one of the most generous nations in the world and therefore, the kind of people who don’t mind sparing time to help one another!

Resilience

From wars to natural disasters we have seen it all but trust in Allah Almighty is our driving force. It is this trust, which allows us to remain resilient in situations that are daunting for many to the point of wanting to give up.

We have then survived wars, corrupt governments, poverty, natural disasters, international media bashing, hostile neighbors, terrorism etc. but by the Grace of Allah Almighty we have still remained strong and INSHALLAH will always remain that way.

Heroes

From the world’s largest ambulance service to the youngest Microsoft professional, we have produced some of the most extraordinary individuals in the history of mankind.

For this reason, we do not require comic book heroes simply because there is no dearth of actual heroes in our country-something we all celebrate and something we are all very proud of!
