Malala Yousafzai and Greta Thunberg are bonding over climate change and we need more people to stand up for the cause.
Greta Thunberg tweeted her picture with Malala Yousafzai during a visit to Oxford University where 22 year old human rights campaigner is studying politics, philosophy, and economics.
Malala Yousafzai also shared her photo with the young activist on her Twitter and quipped, “She’s the only friend I’d skip school for.”

In an interview with Teen Vogue, Malala Yousafzai while praising the efforts of young activists commended Greta Thunberg and said:
We have seen huge progress over the last few years, and now to see that young girls like Emma [González] and Greta are coming forward and they’re talking about climate change, they are talking about gun violence, and they’re talking about these different issues that are impacting all of us and especially what’s going to affect the future generations.
