Mohsin Naqvi Appoints Babar Azam As White-ball Captain Till Champions Trophy, 2025

Mohsin while appointing Babar Azam as white-ball captain till Champions Trophy, 2025 said, “The selection committee has to make a decision on Babar Azam’s captaincy in the future. For now, he is the captain till the Champions Trophy 2025. I wish the decision of captaincy lasts for a long time. It is completely up to the selection committee to decide which player they want or not, I don’t have the authority.”

While commenting on rumors of infighting in the dressing room Naqvi further said, “Look, there are problems everywhere. Even if there are two brothers in a house, they face issues. If we say there aren’t any, then we are just engaging in good conversation. But the reality is that the team is now in a gel-like state.”
