We have been separated for six months now. We had some personal irreconcilable differences that led to this.

However, The News International, reported that Shahroz’s father Behroz Sabzwari has rejected all such rumors of them getting divorced. He said they have not called off their marriage, and clarified that disputes are a part of every family. He also informed that Syra is staying with her ailing father to look after him.
