Mohd. Amir has been disappointing in the two games that he has played during the series. His hamstring injury then makes things easy for the selectors who are likely to play Wahab Riaz in the series decider ahead of him i.e. even if he is fit.

There has been plenty of criticism on Misbah-ul-Haq for selecting aged players in the T20 squad. Mohd. Hafeez nevertheless, has justified his selection. Shoaib Malik on the other hand, at least for now, seems too strong an individual for Misbah and co. to drop. Iftikhar Ahmed who too has had an ordinary series so far then seems to the likely man to make way in order for the young Haider Ali to make his international debut.
