Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shoaib Malik And Fakhar Zaman Might Be Part Of Pakistan’s #T20WorldCup Squad
Pakistan’s middle-order has been a worry in the shortest version of the game since the last 12 months or so as none of the batsmen tried so far have been able to settle down. The story hasn’t changed much even though the ICC World Cup is only a few weeks away. Keeping in view of the performances during the ongoing National T20, selectors now seem convinced that Asif Ali, Sohaib Maqsood, Khushdil Shah and Azam Khan are unlikely to produce an answer to Pakistani middle-order’s woes. Therefore, it is highly likely that senior batsmen Shoaib Malik, Sharjeel Khan and Fakhar Zaman will be called up to replace Khushdil Shah, Asif Ali and Sohaib Maqsood. Moreover, former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed is also likely to be inducted in place of Azam Khan.
