Journalist Mahwash Ajaz, recently shared an insensitive tweet where she compared Ali Zafar’s case with Mashal Khan lynching and what even! Ajaz whose twitter bio reads as “this is a ali zafar/johnny depp stan account” stooped way too low while defending the singer. How can she forget that Zafar continues to live quite a privileged life, while Khan was lynched and then murdered. It is demeaning to compare it with Ali Zafar’s case. We should let the court handle the legal proceedings of the singer’s case.
