PTI and PML-N supporters started these extremely misogynistic trends on Twitter, hitting back at one another, demeaning women only to fulfill their personal and political vendettas.

We’re all aware of how things get dirty in politics, but Pakistani twitter mafia hit a new low in the last few days.

These extremely vile and disgusting trends speak volumes of the deeply entrenched patriarchy of our society. How all of these were targeted towards women specifically is a testament to the prevailing hate against Aurat March. These derogatory remarks are telling of the men in our society and it is shameful to report how none of the political parties leaders have spoken up against it. Sick.

Feminists in particular were quick to respond to these keyboard warriors, who hide behind their screens and fake ids, spewing hate, boiling our blood like nothing. The trends are too belittling to discuss, so we’ll appreciate these total Boss ladies for reprimanding the women haters.

It’s not about PTI, PML-N, Maryam Nawaz or Imran Khan’s wife in particular, the deep seated hate and filth-causing misogyny is what gives birth to trends like these.
