PDM Marchers will be offered tea and snacks (chai-pani) if they decide to march towards Rawalpindi, DG ISPR, said, while addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Monday.

While answering a question about PDM leader Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman’s possible threats to marching towards Rawalpindi, Maj Gen. Babar Iftikhar, Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) responded,
I don’t see a reason for them coming to Pindi. And if at all they want to come, we will offer them chai pani and look after them. What more can I say?
Earlier, 11-party opposition alliance movement’s leader Rehman had said that PDM would no longer target only the government but will come after “his backers” too. Basically, Maulana was hinting that the march to the capital “could also be to Rawalpindi,” where the Army headquarters are.

After the press conference and while responding to ‘chai-pani’ comment of DG ISPR, Fazl-ur-Rehman stated that he doesn’t want tea and snacks only, but would also want to have ‘Papa Johns’ Pizza.’
