Pakistan’s think tank is likely to make a few changes during the #PAKvsHKG game i.e. scheduled to be played in #AsiaCup2022 on the coming Friday. It is worth mentioning here that the green shirts face a must win situation after losing their first match of the tournament against arch-rivals India.
#AsiaCup2022: Haider Ali Likely To Play The #PAKvsHKG Game
Young batter Haider Ali is expected to play against Hong Kong ahead of either Iftikhar Ahmed or Khushdil Shah. Pakistan’s middle-order has been a problem for a while now and so, the Babar Azam led unit are likely to give the 21 year old a proper opportunity to prove his worth in the country’s squad.
Hasan Ali & Mohd. Hasnain Expected To Play
Pakistan might also rest Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf and include Hasan Ali and Mohd. Hasnain instead. Given such a scenario both fast bowlers will be making an international comeback. Hasan was originally dropped for the tournament owing to poor form however, the selectors had to bring him back after Shaheen Afridi and Mohd. Wasim Junior couldn’t make themselves available owing to injury concerns. Hasnain on the other hand returned back in the squad after remodeling his bowling action.
Fakhar Zaman Expected To Open
Pakistan are also likely to shuffle their batting order. Fakhar Zaman is expected to open while Babar Azam or Rizwan will drop down to the one down position.
