#ShaheenAfridi & #ShanMasood Takeover Captaincy, #BabarAzam Steps Down
Following Babar Azam’s decision to step down from captaincy, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) appointed Shaheen Afridi as the country’s T20 while Shan Masood as the Test captain. PCB on the other hand has decided to take its time before they announce a skipper for the ODI format.

Coaching Staff Demoted
In another major development all members of the coaching staff were demoted and told not to worry about the country’s tour to Australia. Their new roles as of now have not been defined.

Meanwhile, M. Hafeez has replaced Mickey Arthur as Pakistan’s Team Director while former pacer Wahab Riaz has been appointed as Pakistan’s new chief selector. Media reports also suggest that Younis Khan is likely to take over the position of head coach.
