As per a story published in Geo Super, Team Director Mickey Arthur, head coach Grant Bradburn and batting coach Andrew Puttick are all likely to be shown the door following a round of important meetings today. Bowling coach, Morne Morkel has already announced his departure following the ICC event. The report also explains that PCB is likely to ask Mickey to step down. Otherwise, the board will intervene to do the needful.

Geo Super in another story also quoted Aalia Rasheed as saying yesterday, “Tomorrow, Mickey Arthur is coming, there is a meeting. It would be premature to say anything about the change of captain of the cricket team. It is possible that tomorrow we will hear a decision from Babar Azam himself.”

It is worth mentioning here that other reports suggest that Babar is likely to either resign or be removed from white ball cricket. Nevertheless, Pakistan travels to Australia next for a three match Test series where the men in green haven’t won a Test match since 1995. Hence, there is a good probability that Babar might not take the risk of touring Australia as a skipper and so, he might as well resign from captaincy across formats.
