Nawaz hasn’t played for Pakistan for a while now. However, Usama Mir’s poor form has allowed him an opportunity to stage another international comeback. The change makes sense because Nawaz as of now definitely seems to be a better all-round option than Mir who probably didn’t deserve to play the first two T20s as well.

Mohd. Wasim Finally Gets To Play For Pakistan Again
Wasim was in terrific form during the ODI world cup and so, it’s just strange why Pakistan neither played him in Australia nor during the first two T20s in New Zealand. Nevertheless, he finds a place ahead of Amir Jamal who despite doing exceptionally well in the Test series against the Aussies has struggled to make his mark in the T20 format against the Kiwis.

Zaman Khan Selected Ahead Of Abbas Afridi
Abbas Afridi is out of the game owing to an injury and so, Zaman Khan has found himself a place in the playing XI. He is an expert at the death and so, his inclusion makes sense as well.
