Pakistan has lost all the three #NZvPAK T20s that they have played so far and so, here is a look at four Pakistani cricketers who desperately need to perform during the last two games in order to keep their place.
#NZvPAK: Azam Khan Is Under Serious Pressure
Azam Khan so far has completely failed to impress particularly with the bat. If he fails to deliver again during the tour, then there is a good probability of him being left out for a significant period of time. Therefore, it is obvious that he is in serious trouble as far as his international career is concerned. Nevertheless, Pakistan must play him in the remaining two T20s to ensure that he is given a proper opportunity.
Saim Ayub too is yet play a significant innings ever since making his international debut. Hence, the left-handed opener would be desperate to deliver during the next two T20s to consolidate his place and to ensure that he remains a permanent member of Pakistan’s international squad.
Iftikhar Ahmed hasn’t done well during the series at all. The age he is in, a bad series in New Zealand might as well end his international career for good.
Neither Shaheen’s bowling nor his performance as the team’s skipper has been impressive. Therefore, Pakistan’s T20 captain needs to pull up his socks otherwise, following the series, he might at least lose the captaincy.
