Top Three
Pakistan are likely to open with skipper Babar Azam and wicket-keeper batsman Mohd. Rizwan. Young Haider Ali then is expected to bat at the crucial number three position.

Middle-order
The absence of Mohd. Hafeez under controversial circumstances is likely to allow Asif Ali another comeback at the international level. Iftikhar Ahmed and Khushdil Shah then are likely to be the other two batsman in the middle-order. Faheem Ashraf on the other hand is expected to fill the all-rounder’s spot.

Bowlers
In absence of spin bowling all-rounders i.e. Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim, Usman Qadir seems all set to occupy the spinners slot in the playing XI. Hasan Ali then should not only register his T20 comeback but will also be considered as the leader of the pack. Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf are likely to be the other two bowlers.
It is also worth mentioning here that Mohd. Hasnain’s recent T20 performances seem far better than Haris Rauf. Nevertheless, Misbah and Waqar apparently prefer Haris (of course, for reasons best known to them!) and so, it is the only reason why Hasnain’s name doesn’t feature in the expected playing eleven below.
