Soon after the video made rounds on social media, netizens called out the sitting government on their inability to remove KP Law Minister, Sultan Muhammad Khan from office.
They also talked about how PTI removed 20 lawmakers who changed their loyalties from PTI and directed them to Qaumi Watan Party, but failed to remove Sultan from office.
All this social media backlash compelled the PTI Ministers to take note of the whole situation and take swift action. Soon after, PM’s aide on political communication i.e. Shehbaz Gill tweeted that PM Imran Khan has instructed Chief Minister, Mahmood Khan to remove the minister in conversation from his post. He added that PM has also asked to hold an inquiry into the matter and submit a report.
Staying true to his word in trying to keep processes as transparent as possible, PM condemned the act and said how this is what he stands against. He also reiterated that like always, he won’t let this matter go unnoticed and will strive to ”stop this cycle of money laundering.”
The videos showing the shameful way in which politicians buy & sell votes in Senate reflects the total destruction of the nation’s morality by successive ruling elites as they drowned the nation in debt. Cycle of corruption & money laundering is a sordid tale of our pol elite:

Moments after Gill and PM’s strong worded messages, KP Chief Minister wrote on the microblogging site, “I’ve asked Law Minister Sultan Khan to step aside & resign, due to his alleged appearance in a video released on social media , to clear his name.”
Quoting Premier’s vision of upholding transparency at every level, he said that the law minster will be held accountable for his actions.
