#PAKvSA warm-up match yesterday ended with South Africa winning the game by 6 wickets and so, here is a look at what we were able to learn from the encounter.
Is Mohd. Rizwan Losing Form At The Wrong Time?
Mohd. Rizwan has been in terrific form throughout this year however, his performance during the last few T20 matches suggests that he is losing it at the wrong time. Pakistan then would hope that the wicket-keeper batsman comes good with the bat not only against India on Sunday but even otherwise during the prestigious T20 world cup.
Mohd. Hafeez Still Not Performing But The Middle-order Seemed Good
Mohd. Hafeez hasn’t performed with the bat for a while now and unfortunately the trend continued during the game. Still, the fact that Fakhar Zaman, Shoaib Malik and Asif Ali contributed with the bat is positive sign for the green caps because this is one of those few occasions this year when Pakistan scored decently despite Babar Azam and Mohd. Rizwan failing to score big at the top.
Death Bowling A Major Concern During The #PAKvSA Warm-up Match
Other than the middle-order, Pakistan’s death bowling too has been a concern for a while now. The fact that Hasan Ali and Haris Rauf once again failed to deliver actually resulted in Pakistan losing a game that it was supposed to win. Hence, there is a lot of work that the green shirts need to do before they play their first match against India on Sunday.
