A UK man had a such-kismet-much-wow moment when he one fine day received an Apple iPhone on an online order of apples—yes, apples!
What the what, right, but believe it or not, that actually, quite literally happened, for one lucky-lucky man.
Nick James, a 50-year-old man from Twickenham, UK, placed an online order at the groceries and general merchandise retailer, Tesco. Little did he know that a HUGE surprise was awaiting him at the store.
The UK man got a brand new iPhone SE as part of the supermarket’s reward scheme for the online shoppers. They gifted Nick a dabba-pack iPhone, whoa!
According to details, the staff at the retailer store told him that there was a surprise for him in his click-and-collect order.
Going by his statement, it looks like James wasn’t expecting to receive something like that at all. However, he was way too excited to have won it.
Tesco has randomly selected customers for its promotional campaign called the “Super Substitute.” Many other lucky customers have also received various gifts as part of the scheme. Many of them – like James – also documented their prizes on Twitter.
It looks like the UK man who ordered apples but got an Apple iPhone instead is not the only one to be surprised like that!
