Several dating apps, including Tinder and Grindr, have been banned in Pakistan in a bid to restrict “immoral” and “indecent” content as cited by the authorities.
The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) issued a press release that said it issued notices to the management of Tinder, Grindr, Tagged, Skout and SayHi, seeking the removal of dating services on those platforms.
The notices were sent “keeping in view the negative effects of immoral/indecent content streaming,” as per PTA, but the companies did not respond within the time outlined by local laws.
Well now obviously people have been coming up with hilarious reactions after the state-run regulatory body banned Tinder asking them to “not be a dating app.”
Ridiculous, isn’t it?
Guess what the citizens are calling themselves now after yet another ban?! 👇
Oh, and if you just came to know that it existed then sorry dude… you’re late to the party!
Because it’s banned already!
I mean not that you’d have matched anyone but still!
But hands down, the priorities of this government tho!
Well, people wonder what triggered the ban and ahmmm this might be the case!
Also, why worry because desis marry phuppo and khala k bachay only!
Oopss the regulatory body got offended, guys!
Well, the demographic that is actually worried after the ban!
Uhhh but nvm when you can slide into dms on other social apps!
The picture of a “moral” Pakistan after the ban!
For all the people ranting #SingleUs, this man has a message for you!
