Mickey has played Amir in all three formats and throughout his tenure he has backed the left-arm pacer even when the 26 year old struggled with injuries and form. Pakistan’s foreign head coach considers Amir to be a big match player and therefore, ahead of a lot of other pacers prefers having him on board.

Imad Wasim

Mickey played a major role in the appointment of Imad Wasim as the captain for Karachi Kings. The southpaw over the last couple of years or so has had to face the blame of being Pakistan head coach’s blue eyed boy.

Rumors suggest that Mickey considers the 29 year old all-rounder as a future leader for the men in green and thus, backs him big time in the limited-over formats.
