Shoaib Malik

Shoaib Malik has already retired from Tests and ODIs. The 37 year old cricketer’s recent performances haven’t been too encouraging and therefore, PCB is likely to not include his name in the central contracts. Malik’s international career then might be over even though he is still available to play at the T20 level.

Mohd. Hafeez

Mohd. Hafeez has retired from Test cricket however, he remains keen to play in the limited over versions of the game. Nevertheless, like Malik he too couldn’t perform well during the world cup and with age not on his side, his international career is also under threat for sure. Given the circumstances PCB might not offer him a central contract; a move that is likely to signal an end to the “Professor’s” playing days at the international level.
