His statements often land him in controversy as many netizens feel that not all his opinions are fair or even necessary.

However, for once, Shaan gave an opinion that is winning appreciation.

Offering his take on the Mahira Khan-Firdous Jamal controversy in an interview recently, Shaan said that while no one can dispute Mahira Khan’s stardom and her dedication to her craft, the veteran actor should be forgiven and given due respect as a senior in the entertainment fraternity.

Taking to Twitter, Shaan once again reiterated his forgive and forget mantra and encouraged people to move on from the Mahira Khan-Firdous Jamal controversy.

With producer, Momina Duraid having announced that she would no longer hire Jamal in any of her future productions, an appeal from Shaan to forgive and forget mighta ctually help salavage the damage the veteran actor has caused his prestige and career.
