What Else Did He Have To Say?
While speaking to one of the local media channels Afridi said, “The matches will either be played on flat tracks or wickets that provide assistance to pacers. We already have spinners. If a fast bowler struggles to deliver then, you need a bowler like Imad Wasim who can be lethal with the new ball. I have seen his batting, and I felt very confident about him. He has played some fantastic innings. He’s a player who knows how to handle pressure. He is mentally strong, quite senior, and has played a lot of cricket.”

While defending Arshad’s suprise selection on the other hand Afridi said, “Arshad Iqbal possesses very strong qualities as a very robust bowler. He bowls with aggression and on those pitches, you need a bowler who bowls with strong pace.”
