#SarfarazAhmed opened up after registering a yet another successful international comeback. The former captain scored 86 runs during a 196 runs partnership with skipper Babar Azam. It is worth mentioning here that the wicket-keeper batter walked out to bat when Pakistan (on the first day of the inaugural Test of the two-match series against the Kiwis) were in deep trouble at 110 for four.

Explaining how he felt while playing his comeback game Sarfaraz said, “When I walked out for batting, my heartbeat was out of control. During first three balls of the innings, it felt like I was making debut. I needed confidence at that moment and Babar Azam supported me a lot. Alhumdulillah, things worked for me and I performed.”
