Significance Of The Tour
The tour is significant in many ways. For a start the upcoming season will pretty much be a test of New Zealand Cricket that is looking forwarding to managing a successful season post COVID19.
The series is also part of the ICC Test Championship and so, both sides need to put up a show to earn some valuable points.
The series has the potential of defining the future of Misbah and Azhar i.e. (if they manage to go that far). While a good tour to New Zealand can help the pair in extending their stay in prestigious positions that they hold as of now; a bad tour can certainly mark the end of their tenure.
