Misbah-ul-Haq Drops Shoaib Malik, Mohd. Amir & Sarfaraz Ahmed
As expected poor show from Shoaib Malik, Mohd. Amir and Sarfaraz Ahmed during the recently concluded National T20 cup has resulted in all three of them losing their place for the series against Zimbabwe.
You never know in Pakistan cricket but given their age; this could well be the end of the international careers especially, in case of Malik and Sarfaraz.

Abdullah Shafique , Haris Sohail, Rohail Nazir, Usman Qadir And Zafar Gohar Also Included
Abdullah Shafique following an impressive National T20 cup has been called up for his first national assignment. Haris Sohail who had opted out of Pakistan’s tour to England has also returned to the squad while Rohail Nazir has been preferred over the out of form Sarfaraz Ahmed to be Mohd. Rizwan’s back up.
Interesting to note however, is the return of Usman Qadir and Zafar Gohar in the line-up. Imad Wasim and Shahdab Khan have been the leading Pakistan’s spin bowling department in the limited overs formats for a while now. Nevertheless, performance of both during the T20s in England wasn’t particularly, outstanding. Apparently, the purpose of Usman and Zafar’s inclusion then is to put pressure on the first choice of spinners in the playing eleven. Hence, both will either have to pull up their socks or face the axe in near future.
