Press Trust of India (PTI) has reported that PCB is looking forward to reduce Misbah’s burden who is also serving as Pakistan’s head coach.
The source was further quoted as saying, “Wasim Khan the PCB CEO was in England recently and has also observed from close quarters how Misbah is handling both responsibilities. Wasim also spoke to Misbah in England and having a new chief selector is now an option for the board.

Pakistan’s dismal show during the English tour has understandably raised quite a few eyebrows. Misbah’s team selection and his decision of having Azhar Ali as the Test skipper too has been a point of debate since long.
