Both sides were playing in the ODI format after a while and so, it’s just natural that they clearly looked rusty. Afghanistan’s batting line owing to a lack of exposure and experience couldn’t adjust to the format at all. Nevertheless, expect them to improve towards the end of this series. Saud Shakeel is among the best batters in the country when it comes to negotiating quality spin bowlers. Conditions during the world cup are expected to be similar to what they are in Sri Lanka i.e. where the ongoing series is taking place. The country’s middle-order to has this tendency of not being consistent enough. Therefore, it is absolutely important that Pakistan test Saud Shakeel during the series to see whether or not he is ready to deliver in the ODI format.

Imad Wasim Or Nawaz Still A Better Option Than Usama Mir
