Fawad Alam Wants To Play White Ball Cricket Again

While expressing the desire to play ODI cricket again for Pakistan Fawad said, “First thing, no player can say no to the management. I’m not thinking anything else at the moment except for the Australia tour. But if the opportunity arrives in ODIs, I’m ready for the challenge. Personally I believe that if something is written in my destiny, I will get it. If it is not there then I can’t.”

While talking about the upcoming series against Australia the left handed middle-order batsman said, “I watched them play in Pakistan from the stands back in 1998, when they [Australia] last toured. It was a fine memory and now I am very excited to play against the same team at home.”

While praising skipper Babar Azam and Test vice-captain Mohd. Rizwan on the other hand Fawad said, “We can’t imagine reaching the level of Babar and Rizwan. They are performing consistently in all formats for the past couple of years. The chemistry they have, when they are out in the middle, is amazing.”
