After the brilliant innings and during the post-match press conference, Fakhar said, “I was batting well in the nets and had the team needed me before, I would have played but my aim is to always score runs in a way that it helps the team in winning. To ensure that we maintain a healthy run rate, we looked to chase down the target in 28 to 29 overs. So, I decided to go hard. Otherwise, it was very easy to score a century today. Our goal as I said was to chase down the target quickly.”
