The continuing loss of citizens of high intelligence and creativity through immigration is called “BRAIN DRAIN”. Despite being a developing country Pakistan has does not have a shortage of creative brains but unfortunately the super created minds in Pakistan always decide to leave their own state and they go abroad to serve other countries. This process is giving great loss to Pakistan.

There are many causes for brain drain in Pakistan. Some of the most common reasons include lack of opportunity to develop and employ creative skills, lack of infrastructure for industrial and scientific research, complicated bank procedures to acquire loan, limited business opportunities both in the public and private sector of Pakistan.

Owing to the aforesaid factors competent Pakistanis find themselves helpless and eventually decide to settle in a foreign country where they can make the most of their abilities and utilize their best years in a productive manner. Thus, a number of extremely capable engineers, doctors, philosophers, journalists, reporters etc. from Pakistan can easily be found while working in different countries across the globe.

Dr. Abdus Salam who happens to the only Noble Prize winner Pakistani scientist worked in Italy. In Pakistan the atmosphere of our social and political system also serves as hurdle for the talented and leaves them dishearted and hopeless.

It is the need of time to control this situation before the time ends.
