#BabarAzam Comes Down Hard On Critics After The #PakvsNz Semi-final
After making it to the final of the T20 World Cup Babar said, “Yes, I couldn’t score runs, but the performance in the semi-final [against New Zealand] reduced the pressure. I tried to give 100% in every match, but there were some mistakes. There are ups and downs in cricket, but I believed that we would stage a comeback. I have my team management to thank as they kept my morale high.”

“If the captain is being criticized, it means that the team is also being criticized. You can indeed criticize but refrain from getting personal. Critics should now enjoy as the team has reached the final.”

The 28 year old further said, “We had a good start in the first six overs and later on we had a good spin attack. The fast bowlers also finished very well. Our plan before going inside was to utilize the first six overs and later on everyone can come and chip in.”
The skipper further added, “Thanks to the crowd, feels like we are playing at home. We will enjoy this moment, but at the same time we will focus on the final.”
