All-rounders
Bowling all-rounder Mohd. Nawaz is almost certain to play the game particularly, because he has had an impressive year in the format this far. Pakistan then are likely to either play vice-captain Shadab Khan or Faheem Ashraf. Both of them hand have not been prime form and hence, it makes little sense to play them together.
There seems no place for senior all-rounder Imad Wasim at the moment. However, a bad game or two is likely to see him play at a later stage in the series.

Bowlers
Hasan Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi are likely to lead Pakistan’s fast bowling department. Haris Rauf is expected to assist them once again unless, the think-tank decides to play Usman Qadir or fellow pacer Mohd. Hasnain ahead of him.
