The lockdown life in Pakistan, like many other countries, is in the fifth month due to the Covid-19 pandemic. For someone like me who believes in following rules and regulations, I now wish to be carefree like many people who roam around without the fear of anything.

As a result of Covid-19 and the prolonged lockdown, I can confidently say that my life has turned upside down.

How? Well:

Here are 5 ways in which the prolonged lockdown has turned my life upside down!

1. The Constant Fear

The worst thing which has happened to me is that I live in a constant state of fear of getting affected with Covid-19. I get a panic attack every time I am required to step out of the house because I rarely see people following the SOPs.

2. Disturbed Sleep Cycle

I have always been an early bird but the day lockdown began, my sleep cycle got ruined. Staying up late not by choice and waking up with a headache every now and then is just too much to handle.

3. Laziness

The situation of working from home has made me lazy and less productive. I guess I had it coming since I have been working from my sofa during the lockdown.

4. Lost patience

Limited interaction with people, forced to stay in all the time and the Covid-19 pandemic doesn’t seem to go away anytime soon has made me become impatient. So, even the smallest things irritate me and bring the worst out of me.

5. Killed My Fun Side

Worst of all, I have forgotten how to have a good time. YouTube and Netflix aren’t fun anymore. Computer games have become boring, exploring new movies has become too much of an effort. It has just all gone down the drain.

I hope the Covid-19 pandemic is completely controlled soon because I want my normal life back!
