Yasir Shah who was accused of sexual harassment in an alleged rape case has been cleared by the Shalimar Police Station and so, here is a look at what happened.

Yasir Shah’s name was registered in an alleged rape case a few weeks back. The leg spinner was accused of sexual harassment and assisting a friend in rape of a 14 year old girl. Nevertheless, the victim has clarified that his name was “wrongly” added in the FIR and hence, the 35 year is no longer a suspect.

Talking to Express News after the development Yasir said, “Thanks to Allah, everything is clear now. Now I can give all my focus and attention to the game. Due to this case, there was a lot of disturbance which also affected cricket activities. I am now fully fit and looking forward to Australia tour of Pakistan. After getting fit, I played a four-day match and now I will try to give the best performance when I get a chance in the series against Australia in March.”
