Sixth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) was postponed last week after Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) bio-bubble became ineffective and so, here is a look at why PCB should look to reschedule PSL 6 in May, 2021 i.e. despite the fact that such a schedule is certain to clash with Indian Premier League (IPL) and Vitality Blast.Â

Revival Of International Cricket In Pakistan Stays On Track
International cricket had just returned to Pakistan. The PSL’s bio-bubble controversy now leaves a huge question mark over the board’s ability to stage international events yet again and hence, PCB should look to organize the remaining games of the tournament in May i.e. well-before England are scheduled to tour the country. This should help in clearing the air on one hand and in bringing an end to the controversy months before an international activity is due in the country on the other.

PSL 6 In May Will Still Keep The Audience Interested
Local audience let alone the international viewers are almost certain to forget about what had happened earlier if the tournament is delayed beyond May. Thus, rescheduling of the event a couple of months later while its still fresh in the memory of the fans will most definitely allow better excitement and therefore, more eye balls!
