A Lack Of Will
Rumours suggest that Amir has applied for British citizenship and has already made up his mind to retire when the process is complete. A Wake Up Call
Amir hasn’t featured in the prestigious tournament yet. If a wakeup call on missing out on a yet another ODI world cup doesn’t flare him up then perhaps nothing will. Therefore, the selectors have dropped him from the mega event but have kept him in the side that plays 5 ODIs against England just before the big tournament to figure out if he is still willing to knock the door. PCB can still make changes to the side before the 23rd of May, 2019 and hence, a couple of good performances from the left-armer are likely to result in him finding a place in the world cup squad ahead of Mohd. Hasnain, Faheem Ashraf or Junaid Khan.
