Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced a 15 member touring party for the ICC World Cup only a couple of days back. However, since changes are still possible before the 23rd of May, 2019, here is a list of Pakistani cricketers who could still be dropped from the world cup.

Mohd. Hafeez
Mohd. Hafeez is still recovery from a thumb surgery and has been selected subject to fitness.
Hence, if he is not able to recover then Mohd. Rizwan is likely to replace him.

Shoaib Malik
Rumours suggest that all is not well between Malik and the head coach Mickey Arthur. He is only in the squad owing to the fact that he retires after the big tournament.
Thus, the experienced middle order batsman will have to fire against England and also hope that Asif Ali doesn’t outperform him at any stage during the 5 match ODI series.

Imad Wasim
Imad Wasim too isn’t a 100 percent fit and hence, needs to pass the fitness test before the ICC World Cup begins.

Junaid Khan or Faheem Ashraf
Shaheen Afridi and Hasan Ali will remain Pakistan’s first choice fast bowlers during the mega event. Hasnain being the only tear away pacer in the squad is too likely to be retained.
Hence, Junaid Khan and Faheem Ashraf will have to deliver results against England to keep their positions intact besides hoping for Amir not to regain form before the prestigious tournament.
