Pakistan during their Test match in Dublin bundled out Ireland for a 130 in the first innings and forced them to follow-on. However, the Irish boys put them under massive pressure by scoring 339 in their second innings and hence, exposed Pakistan’s bowling line that for most part in a Test match definitely lacks bite and looks predictable.

The case was no different against a low ranked county side like Leicestershire where again the men in green struggled to find wickets. Quite frankly, Pakistan’s bowling in the longer version of the game seems to have gone very weak.

Azhar Ali ever since arriving in England has looked out of form. However, he was finally able to produce an innings of worth in the side game and we hope that he is able to carry the form forward to the Test series against the English boys.

Pakistan’s Captain Sarfraz Ahmed on the other hand is still looking for runs. Since Pakistan are looking to play five recognized batsmen only, the skipper’s form will for sure worry the support staff!

Nevertheless, Fakhar Zaman and Usman Salahuddin by putting up decent scores in the warm up have certainly presented a strong case for their inclusion in case there is an injury.
