Former Pakistan cricketer turned commentator, Shoaib Akhtar wished India’s Little Master, Sachin Tendulkar a swift recovery after he tested positive for COVID.
Pakistani pacer took to the microblogging site, where he shared a throwback picture of him and the Master Blaster from the Australia-India-Pakistan tri-series in 1999-2000.
Going by his usual quirky way, Rawalpindi Express prayed for Tendulkar to get well soon while adding that Sachin was ‘one of his favorite rivals on the ground.’
Tendulkar tested positive for the virus a few days ago and is self-isolating at home with mild symptoms.
“I’ve quarantined myself at home and am following all the necessary protocols as advised by my doctors. I want to thank all the healthcare professionals who are supporting me and many others across the country.” The former Indian skipper concluded by saying take care all of you.
Here’s wishing Tendulkar a fast recovery from COVID along with Shoaib Akhtar. Drop your wishes in the comments.
