Former captain Shahid Afridi has asked Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to manage Shaheen Afridi carefully. The star pacer has now suffered two knee injuries with in the last three to four months. It is also worth mentioning here that he is engaged with Shahid’s daughter.

Shahid Afridi Asks PCB To Take Good Care Of Shaheen Afridi
The former all-rounder while commenting on the issue said, “Shaheen is now resting because he once again had his knee injured in the same place. I think Shaheen should rest for at least 2-3 months for recovery and be careful while fielding. He has to play very carefully now and PCB will also have to make sure.”

PCB via a statement on the other hand, recently explained that, “Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has been advised two-week rehabilitation after he landed awkwardly while taking Harry Brook’s catch during Sunday’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, 2022 final in Melbourne. Shaheen will undergo rehabilitation and conditioning programme that has been designed to strengthen his knee at the National High Performance Centre few days after his return to Pakistan.”
