#PakvsEng: Abdullah Shafique Ready For The Home Test Series

Pakistan’s Test opening batter Abdullah Shafique during his conversation with media revealed that he is ready and waiting for the historic home Test series against England. It is worth mentioning here that the English boys are scheduled to visit Pakistan for the first time in over 15 years.

Abdullah Shafique Eager To Participate In The #PakvsEng Test Series

Shafique while explaining his preparations and eagerness for the series said, “We are eagerly waiting for the series against England. It will be a challenge for us. We are a good Test side but just need to work on the small mistakes we make on the field.

“I’m currently focused on the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in order to maintain my good form. We play quality cricket in our domestic circuit, which is why stepping on the international arena after a long gap won’t be an issue.”

Both sides are scheduled to face each other for the Test in Rawalpindi on December 01, 2022. However, owing to political turmoil in the country, the inaugural Test might as well be shifted to Karachi.
