Senior administrators from the Board of Control For Cricket in India (BCCI) have gradually started supporting the idea of playing cricket against Pakistan again. Ehsan Mani, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on the other hand stated yesterday during a press conference, that he will not run after them (BCCI). Hence, here is a look at why India might now be ready for a series between India and Pakistan.

Political Reasons
India finds itself in tough situation owing to the humanitarian crisis that their government has created in Kashmir. Pakistan then, is obviously the most vocal of all international actors. Thus, as of now, they should be more than happy initiating dialogue and employing cricket diplomacy as a first step. A ploy that can go a long way in depriving the high moral ground that Pakistan’s foreign office possess at the moment.
