Sania Mirza Helped Arrange A Cake For Hafeez’s Wife & He Thanked His Rescue Angel

Muhammad Hafeez could have been in big trouble because he had almost forgotten his wife’s birthday, but then Sania Mirza helped him save the day.

The pressure of the match between Pakistan and New zealand got the best of Hafeez and in the midst of it all, he forgot his wife, Nazia’s birthday. But, there was someone who helped him arrange a cake and bring the day to a good end.

Shoaib Malik’s wife, Sania Mirza became the former skipper’s rescue angel, who planned a surprise birthday party for Nazia.

Hafeez was beyond grateful to Mirza, and he expressed his gratitude on Twitter, sharing the tidbits of the whole incident with his fans.

“Happy birthday to my wife, Nazia Hafeez. I forgot, but thanks to the rescue angel Sania Mirza [for arranging] a birthday cake on time,” he wrote.

The tennis player brought a chocolate cake to commemorate the occasion and was seen celebrating with the Hafeez family in a small private gathering.

The gesture on Mirza’s part is absolutely adorable and is good to see cordial cross-border interactions.
