Veteran actor Rashid Mahmood took to social media and revealed that Pakistan Television (PTV) paid only Rs.620 as fee for an assignment he did some two years ago.
And apparently, out of the meager amount 500 was quotes as his “Pride of Performance,” fee and the remaining Rs.120 for his work!
“What is the criteria of paying a pride of performance winner in this country who has spent 50 years of life in PTV?,” he questioned.
PTV has been under fire ever since the news surfaced on social media for underpaying the veteran actor.
PTV even gets a portion of the amount from our electricity bills in addition to its budget and still goes this low!
Someone please drag them out of the 90s!
