Preparations for PSL 5 (Fifth season of Pakistan Super League) have already begun and hence, here is a look at three franchises who are all set to enter the new season of the tournament with new coaches.

Islamabad United

Islamabad United have already replaced Dean Jones with Misbah-ul-Haq as their new head coach for PSL 5. It is worth mentioning here that Misbah while leading the franchise on field led them to two tournament titles during the first three years of the annual event.

Karachi Kings

Mickey Arthur has not really delivered during his four years of stay as the head coach of Karachi Kings. Hence, the franchise then is likely to sack him. Dean Jones has a good working relationship with the franchise’s president Wasim Akram and therefore, there is a good probability of the former Australian cricketer taking over from Mickey Arthur.

Multan Sultans

Multan Sultans hasn’t done too well during the tournament so far. Hence, they are all set to replace Tom Moody. Media reports suggest that they are in contact with Andy Flower whom the franchise owners want to take on board for the coming season.
