Shan Masood Likely To Be The New Test Captain

Romours suggest that in a surprise move PCB has decided to appoint Shan Masood as Pakistan’s Test captain. This basically means that the opening batsman who impressed with his performance during the series in South Africa will replace Sarfraz Ahmed while receiving nod ahead of other senior cricketers like Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq.

Imad Wasim Most Likely To Replace Sarfraz Ahmed In ODIs

PCB is likely to retain Sarfraz Ahmed as skipper in T20s i.e. a format where he enjoys an outstanding record. However, the wicket-keeper is likely to be replaced by Imad Wasim who has performed decently off late. Hence, Pakistan is almost certain to have different captains leading the dressing rooms in all three formats of the game.

Mickey Arthur To Be Retained

News circulating in the media also suggest that Mickey Arthur is likely to secure an extension in contract till the next World T20.
